Stay & travel
From inquiry to your 12-month review
Most patients fly home on day 3 or 4. Office work with a hat is fine after day 10; client-facing work most patients delay until day 14. Final result settles between months 9 and 12.
Day 0
Cartilage reshaped under anaesthesia; a supportive head dressing is applied.
Day 1
Soreness and tightness are normal; the dressing stays in place.
Day 7
Dressing changed to a headband; short flights are usually comfortable now.
Week 2
Sutures reviewed and you return to most daily activities.
Week 6
Resume full exercise; the headband is typically worn at night only.
Month 3
Swelling settles and the new ear position looks natural.
Month 12
Scars behind the ears fade and the final result is set.
