Stay & travel
From inquiry to your 12-month review
Most patients fly home on day 3 or 4. Office work with a hat is fine after day 10; client-facing work most patients delay until day 14. Final result settles between months 9 and 12.
Day 0
Fat and gland removed under anaesthesia; a compression vest is fitted.
Day 1
Soreness and swelling are normal; gentle walking is encouraged.
Day 7
Sutures checked; short flights are usually comfortable with the vest on.
Week 2
Return to desk work; keep wearing the compression vest.
Week 6
Resume full exercise including chest workouts.
Month 3
Swelling settles and the flatter chest contour is visible.
Month 12
Scars fade and the final result is established.
