Why might I need to hold a head position afterwards?
If a gas bubble is placed, keeping a specific head position helps it press on the right part of the retina while it heals.
Can I fly after surgery?
If a gas bubble is in the eye you must not fly until it has absorbed, as altitude changes can dangerously raise eye pressure.
How much will my vision improve?
This depends on the underlying condition; some regain much of their vision while others see more limited improvement.
