From inquiry to your 12-month review
Most patients fly home on day 3 or 4. Office work with a hat is fine after day 10; client-facing work most patients delay until day 14. Final result settles between months 9 and 12.
Day 0
Tissues lifted and excess skin removed under anaesthesia; a supportive dressing is applied.
Day 1
Swelling and bruising begin; the head is kept elevated and rest is important.
Day 7
Sutures often removed; bruising is fading but flying is usually advised a little later.
Week 2
Most visible bruising resolves and social downtime ends.
Week 6
Resume full exercise; residual swelling continues to settle.
Month 3
Tissues soften and the refreshed contour looks natural.
Month 12
Scars mature and the final rejuvenated result is established.
