How to choose a genetic testing clinic abroad
The checks that separate a safe genetic testing clinic from a cheap one — accreditation, the doctor's caseload, and what a real quote includes.
Check the licence, not the lobby
Choose centres where a clinical geneticist or genetic counsellor — not a sales team — orders and interprets the test, and where the lab holds ISO 15189 or equivalent accreditation.
Interrogate the quote
A serious quote is written, itemised and fixed: procedure, anaesthesia, hotel, transfers, translator and aftercare. If any of those is "arranged later", the price is not real. GetClinic quotes are co-signed by the clinic and cannot move on arrival.
