How Laser hair removal works
Laser pulses heat the pigment in the hair shaft to disable the follicle. It is quick — a back or both legs in under an hour — but works best on dark hair against lighter skin and needs 6–8 sessions plus occasional maintenance.
How Electrolysis works
Electrolysis inserts a fine probe into each follicle and destroys it with a tiny electric current. It works on any hair colour and skin tone, including grey and blonde hair that lasers miss, but treats one follicle at a time.
Which to choose
Large areas and dark hair → laser. Small areas, fine or light hair, or laser-resistant regrowth → electrolysis. Many patients clear the bulk with laser and finish with electrolysis.
