Stay & travel
From inquiry to your 12-month review
Most patients fly home on day 3 or 4. Office work with a hat is fine after day 10; client-facing work most patients delay until day 14. Final result settles between months 9 and 12.
Booking & prep
Appointment scheduled; wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for a stress test.
Arrival & registration
Check in and provide your medical and family heart-health history.
Tests & scans
Blood pressure, a resting ECG and a fasting lipid and cardiac blood panel are taken.
Imaging
An echocardiogram is performed to view heart chambers and valves.
Doctor review
If indicated, a treadmill stress test is done and the cardiologist examines you.
Results & report
The cardiologist explains your heart-health report and any follow-up advice.

Do I need to prepare for a stress test?
Wear comfortable footwear and avoid heavy meals, caffeine and smoking for a few hours beforehand. Your doctor may adjust certain medications.
Is an echocardiogram safe?
Yes. It uses harmless sound waves, involves no radiation and causes no discomfort.
Will I receive my results the same day?
Resting tests are usually reviewed the same day, while some blood results may follow shortly after.
